Windows aren't for breaking, actually

No, I'm not a vandal. I promise. There's actually a rather simple equation for the picture you're about to see.
Brothers + hard baseball + fact that they were in front of a window playing + inexperience on the part of the younger brother = broken window.

See, it makes perfect sense. A nice, base-ballish type hole. (I was entirely uninvolved.)

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I must apologize, my dear readers (if indeed you actually read my blog), for the lack of readable material of late. It's not for lack of ideas. I have tons of them. It's simply for lack of time. I have several posts in the works...I just can't manage to finish them to post them. I will try to remedy that...soon... After being gone tomorrow, Friday, and Saturday all day doing many random things. I know I should say no to things sometimes, but I couldn't resist saying yes to helping with wedding photography!!! Should be interesting...
My 'to do' list is calling me.
Hmmm...so you're calling me the vandal?
Of course not!! but defense is one indication of guilt....
Good sir, if you had simply not said anything at all, it might simply have been assumed that you were never involved and it was entirely the younger ones that were at fault. At this point you have practically admitted guilt, and you should just run away.
HAHA!!!!! JJJJoooosssshhhh, what have you done now???
Sounds like it will great time Saturday!! Let me know how it goes and what you learned. (if you don't mind) :P
Haha, yep but then I'd be leaving the entire blame on my other brother (who was partially involved, even though I was really the one reponsible cause I threw the ball. My bro just failed to catch it! lol) and that would have been slightly deceptive! ;-) Lol, it's funny 'cause I've never broken any bones, but I'v broken more than one window in my day! :-/
I'm with my brother.. JJJJoooossshhhh what have you done?!
So are you blaming your younger brother? :-P Lol!
Oh Josh, just count your blessings...the window was the only thing broken! :-)
Now Joshua .. my question for you is the following ... you have almost 5 acres ... you couldn't locate ANY place else to throw the ball? :)
So much for being honest... Maybe silent deception would've been the better option after all! ;-)
And no, I just HAD to throw it behind the house,it was one of the only dry places on the property! :D
Yeah, I can attest to the fact that brothers break windows! My brother Caleb(8) has broken a total of 5 windows between the house and outbuildings. (don't ask me how he does it, and why so many!)
Oh, and speaking of broken windows, I should mention that two of my sisters were chasing each other through the house with knitting needles. Needless to say, when Grace ran to a wall and stepped to the side, Abigail promptly ran the needle right through the window! Really?!
One more story... The most recent window catastrophe was when the huge second-story picture window was bumped into during a game of tag upstairs. Totally broken! It's a wonder no kids fell out of the second story and got seriously hurt. Thank the Lord for His hand of protection. (oh, and I was not involved with the game of tag! I'm innocent =))
If I remember correctly, momma and daddy have always told us kids not to play tag in the house. Now I know why. New meaning to that instruction!
God Bless, and try not to break any more windows if you can help it Joshua!
Yup, boys and windows NEVER go together. My younger five year old brother has broken more windows than all of us girls (there's 7 of us) together.
Though it did take over 10 years of baseball being played before it was a baseball that was part of what broke the window.
Josh and Katarina, thanks for commenting. Josh, the stories were funny. I suppose we should be greatful that we haven't had quite so many windows broken. :P
