Midsummer-morning crisis

A dreadful thing happened. No, really. It's awful. I'm rather depressed, actually.
My snooze button on my alarm clock broke.
Stop laughing. This is a crisis. I don't know how I'm going to manage getting up at 5 tomorrow morning to leave our house by 6! This is summer! I sleep in until 6!
So now my alarm clock is practically useless. The "collection for a new alarm clock for Leah" fund is now open...

LEAH! That is terrible! I have a suggestion though to solve this problem and maybe all your problems: Use your cell phone alarm clock!
It has a snooze.
Also, if it makes you feel better, today my mom called me to get up and i fell back to sleep. Then all of a sudden i woke up again. although it wasn't all of a sudden, it was two hours afterwards. Anywho, i am sorry you have to get up so very early tomorrow. and i feel bad for your poor broken snooze button!

*laughs rather uncontrollably* Well I do understand, but still, it is rather funny... :-p You could just set your alarm to when you really want to wake up, therefore no longer needing your button.

Oh btw, you still have word verification on, and it makes me cry...

Well, my dear, I have two very good alarm clocks with functioning snooze buttons in my dresser drawer - you are welcome to either or both of them. :)

You never cease to amuse me sister! :) I never use my snooze button... I just turn my alarm off and go back to sleep! Which, actually, is rather pathetic since I have to get up and go to the other side of my room to turn the alarm off! :-P

You call sleeping in until six 'sleeping in'??? What on earth do you have to get up so early for?

Your snooze button broke? That's ALARMING! Oh wait, maybe not ...

Daniel--that's impossible. I simply have to let the snooze go off three or four times. That way I'm not (as) grumpy when I get up. We'll discuss the word ver. later.

Morgan--I may take you up on your offer.

Jeff--do you mind me asking who you are?? Yes, sleeping until 6 is sleeping in. Actually, I've been doing good lately and going to sleep at around 11 or 12! So, this summer I've been getting a consistent 6 hrs of sleep. Amazing, huh?

Yes, rather alarming indeed...esp. when I try to turn on the snooze and forget that it's broken!

*theatrical gasp* No!!

Um, six am is not sleeping in. Ever. You should come stay at my house for a while, in the summer, we all wake up at eight (except for me, I wake up at eight thirty or nine :D) and go to bed super late. :D

Leah and Josh- Well, at least y'all set your alarms. Lately, my alarm has been forsaken from all use.
Leah- How tragic! I can't imagine how it must be for your poor snooze button. I'll be praying for you (and the snooze button) :-). Leah, I must say that I agree with all the others who have commented about the fact that 6 A.M. is not in any shape, form , or fashion 'sleeping in'.

Hi Leah!

Of course :) I'm a friend of the Orlandos. You might have heard of me referred to as Skunk, but my name might show up as Jeff depending on if I use my Wordpress or Google to log on.

The Orlandos can vouch for me, I'm one of the good guys =) Oh, I'm over at www.skunkabilly.com by the way.
